bod Stone sits at the heart of Stone’s High Street, blending the casual vibe of a café with the relaxed buzz of a bar and pub. This hybrid space suits a broad range of local moments—from grabbing a well-crafted coffee mid-morning to settling in with a pint as the town shifts into an evening rhythm. The large windows flood the interior with natural light, complementing its modern, yet unfussy décor and providing a comfortable setting whether you’re inside or enjoying the outdoor seating.

The menu reflects this versatility, with options that span all-day brunch, light lunches, and bar snacks. You can start your visit with a reliable cappuccino or an oat milk latte, complemented by freshly made cakes or a robust English breakfast if you’re lingering longer. Later in the day, the pub side emerges more clearly, featuring local beers like Plum Porter and familiar crowd-pleasers such as Stella Artois, along with snacks that lean into British pub classics and seasonal salads. The mix of food and drink offers something for families, friends, and solo visitors alike.

Service here is straightforward and friendly, with a relaxed no-table-service system that encourages a casual pace. Ordering at the bar suits the unpretentious atmosphere, making it easy to pop in after a canal-side walk or during a sunny afternoon. Locals appreciate the spot for its balance of energy and calm, where you can watch the flow of town life through the windows or enjoy live music later in the day. The outdoor area is particularly popular when the weather holds, giving visitors a chance to settle comfortably while soaking up the local scene.

For families with children, the menu includes smaller "Little Bod" options, and the seating layout accommodates groups without feeling crowded. Attention to detail, like the quirky toilet door designs and a loyalty card scheme, hints at the thoughtful touches that contribute to the overall appeal.

In sum, bod Stone is well-tuned to everyday use—whether that’s a caffeine fix and a quiet pause in your day or a sociable stop for drinks with friends as the sun sets. Its central location and flexible setup make it an accessible and steady choice for those who like a blend of café comfort and bar socializing in a town that values easygoing spots with character.

Excellent beer, excellent service and decent pizzas! It was lovely to sit outside in the late afternoon sun with my family and watch the town move into evening mode. Shout out to Ellie who kept our "busy" table clean and tidy throughout. A great bar with a lovely welcoming, laid-back, relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere and first class service. Live music later on was a nice touch as well......we will be back

Popped in for a quick bite and a drink after a pleasant walk along the canal. It was reasonably busy, but we still managed to find a table. Not many menus dotted about, but I managed to find one and also looked it up online. Ordered food and drinks at the bar as no table service is provided. I have not got a problem with this as it makes for a relaxed approach. The food was good, the service was basic but pleasant, and the drink was as expected from a brewery pub. I was very happy with my club sandwich, and you can see from the image that it's a good portion size. The condiments are also very good. My wife had the chorizo flatbread, and again said this was good. We intended to have a cake but overheard the next table saying the cake was not very nice so didn't bother. Overall, I am happy with our choice and would be happy to call again in the future.

Bod is a great place to grab a coffee or something to eat if you're in Stone in Staffordshire. Stylish design and a great choice to select from. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and Bod is central to the town centre. Highly recommend a visit.

First visit to Bod Stone to meet up with friends. Lovely spaces inside and out . Comfortable chairs and good sized tables. Had a flat white and it tasted very good. Still to try the cakes and cooked meals. Love the decor and the huge windows . Service was good although one till didn't work and I had to wait . There's a loyalty card which stores points for all your purchases. Should add up quickly! It's in a central position on the high street and easy to find . I will be visiting again soon.

Came here for brunch after having a bad experience elsewhere. Ordered the full bod breakfast with poached eggs and a small bod breakfast with scrambled eggs. Also, an additional portion of black pudding and an extra plate for my daughter. Drinks wise, we had a strawberry milkshake and a large latte. Drinks arrived promptly, and with drink envy, the waitress explained she could do any flavour of milkshake to my partner, so he ordered a honeycomb one. Food arrived piping hot, good quality and eggs were perfectly cooked. The table was a bit wobbly, but a lovely server fixed it for us when we mentioned it. Staff were super friendly, and as a family, it's nice to dine in pleasant surroundings.
